Guitar classes at David M. Cox – Be a real guitar hero!

Mr. And Mrs. Papanek have group guitar classes after school here at Cox.There is a beginning, intermediate, and an advanced class to challenge students at every level. Students learn how to play chords and sing several different songs. They start out by learning some simple folk songs, and eventually move on to playing melodies and even some pop/rock songs. Students have fun while learning to play in a group setting, and will get performance opportunities as well.

There are 4 eight week sessions offered throughout the year, with plans to add a summer session. A registration form is sent out prior to each session. Children can register for any or all of the sessions. The cost is $80.00 per child for each eight week session. Students will need a guitar for the class as well. We have some guitars available for rent too.
