Green Our Planet Virtual Academy

Students of all ages can learn from the Green Our Planet’s experts with video lessons on STEM, nutrition, gardening, hydroponics and more. Learn how to grow fresh veggies at home with our farmers; discover the science of growing plants in water with our hydroponics experts and cook up a healthy storm with our chefs!

Green Our Planet Guest Chef: Making Pizza

Our 5th grade students received a special experience as our guest chef, Chef Ryan from Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill in Caesars, used fresh basil from our our DMC Garden to make pizzas! This was an exciting treat and a wonderful way to enjoy the fruit of our labor in the DMC Garden. 

Family Picnic Night

What a wonderful event with a great turn out! Thank you to all that joined our celebration of spring! The school choir did a fantastic job in setting the mood for the evening. Enjoy a few photos from this evening!

 

Green Our Planet

Tremendous appreciation for Chef Ryan Calvo from Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill @ Caesar’s Palace for coming in and doing a demonstration at our school! Chef Calvo made tomato soup with some ingredients from our very own garden! Our students enjoyed this special treat which was made possible through the efforts and sponsorship of Green Our Planet and Bank of America!
